Quotes to Inspire and Empower

Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.

Leo Buscaglia

Do not wait; the time will never be ‘just right.’ Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.

George Herbert

When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

Harriet Beecher Stowe

Work hard for what you want because it won’t come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive.

Our coaching sessions were deep and took me to places I wasn’t expecting to go. Matthew has a phenomenal way of creating safe space and an admiral effect of empathy. When we would start our session, I had an idea of what I intended to talk about. However, Matthew allowed me to be vulnerable which opened up meaningful conversations. Matthew helped coach me through some challenges that I was really struggling with.

What really hit home was the detailed email follow up to keep me accountable to the tasks set out with the call.

Matthew is thorough, genuine, and I felt his passion in our coaching sessions. I would highly recommend Matthew as a Life Coach as he is very understanding and very easy to speak to. He holds a safe space and makes uncomfortable moments comfortable.

I am immensely grateful for the impact Matthew has had on my life. His expertise as a life coach has been instrumental in helping me achieve a newfound balance between my professional and personal life. Matthew's ability to listen attentively and empathize with my struggles has been truly invaluable. From our very first session, he created a warm and supportive environment where I felt comfortable opening up about the challenges I was facing in both my work and personal life. His genuine interest in my well-being and unwavering commitment to my growth allowed me to explore my concerns and frustrations with clarity and confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend Matthew to anyone seeking a skilled and empathetic life coach to support them on their journey toward greater balance and well-being.

The number #1 takeaway when working with Matthew was the accountability factor. And not in the traditional way of having him holding me accountable but rather empowering me to hold myself accountable! The 2nd takeaway is that he holds himself to the same degree of accountability. He always goes the extra mile to keep me focused on my goals and not the noisy head chatter that can prevent me from achieving them.

A coaching session with Matthew can be best described as collaborative. It’s not him telling you what to do. It’s us working together with the time tested tools like the 3 in 30 and circle of wealth to get the most out of the program.

I started life coaching because I am looking to get better from the inside to out. Matthew made me discover more about my true inner self. I’m very proud of where I am today because of knowing and working with Matthew. I am a better leader for business.
If you want to work with a coach that CARES about you, look no further than Matthew.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take me to ‘Get My Mind Right’ after injury?

That is a good question. The answer is dependent on you and your injury. Each athlete is individual and the time it takes to “Get My Mind Right” will vary. Yet no matter how long it may take, you will
have a coach with you every step of the way.

What specifically happens on a “Mindset Coaching” call?

On a “Mindset Coaching” call we will dive into the frustrations and fears that you have and help you work to overcome them. We will discuss the goals and dreams that you are chasing and plan out steps to put you on a path to achieving those goals.

How do I get placed with a coach?

Once you complete the assessment you will be contacted by the coach to set up a plan of action.

Can I do one-coaching call at a time (a-la-carte)?

You certainly can do one coaching call at a time (1 week) and it would be at the weekly price. You also have the option to do 1-month or 3-months at a time.

What happens if I accomplish my goals with my coach?

That is awesome if you accomplish your goals. At that point you can choose to stop the coaching OR we could discuss NEW goals that you would like to accomplish.

How do I fit “Mindset Coaching” into my schedule?

If improving and leveling up your performance is important, then you will find a way to make it a priority in your schedule.

My story is complex. What if my coach doesn’t understand the complexity of a situation?
You’re right – every story is complex. Your story deserves to be heard, respected, and seen in all of its layers.
As a mindset coach, I don’t claim to have, or come in with all the answers. What I do come in with is deep curiosity, active listening, and a commitment to meet you where you are in this moment.
You will not be asked to simplify your story or make it easier for someone to understand. A great coach doesn’t try to fit your story into a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, they walk with you through the complexity, helping you uncover clarity, patterns, and power within it.
Because at its very core, you are the expert of your life. My role is to help you connect the dots, build self-awareness, and gain some tools to move forward – no matter how complicated / complex your journey has been so far.
Your story isn’t “too much / too complex.” It is exactly where we begin.
Are my sessions confidential?

Yes, your sessions are confidential.

Are these sessions done online/virtually or live/in-person?

The coaching sessions are done online/virtually, yet if you are in the area there is an option to hold
them live/in-person.

Are there any “rules of engagement” to work with a coach?
Absolutely  – though not in an inflexible, military style way – but in a way that can help set you up for growth, support, and real transformation.
Here are a few key “rules” or guiding principles that I employ during my coaching relationships:
1. Come as you are.
You certainly don’t have to have it all figured out. The sessions are where vulnerability and honesty are strengths, not weaknesses.
2. Be coachable.

That means being open to feedback, be willing to reflect, and be ready to challenge or habits and patterns. Remember, growth happens outside your comfort zone.
3. Consistency is key.

Just like exercising to train your body, training your mind also takes repetition, effort, and time. Showing up – even when it is hard – is where the magic happens. Keep showing up!
4. Mutual respect.

I am here to serve, empower, and support you – but this is a partnership. Respect and communication go both ways.
5. Trust the process.

Mindset shifts don’t happen overnight. It is a journey that does take time – but if you lean in, you may be surprised and amazed at how far you can go.

Coaching in an investment in YOURSELF. The “rules” are not about restriction – they are about helping create a space where you feel safe to grow, thrive, reach for your dreams, and help your performance to soar.
What happens when I “SIGN-UP”? Once you hit the “Sign-UP Today” button...
